About Dr. Jesus Ceja – Tijuana Bariatrics

Dr. Jesus Ceja is a distinguished Tijuana bariatric surgeon working exclusively with Mexico Bariatric Center (MBC). Dr. Ceja was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where he got his specialist doctorate in General Surgery. He graduated in General Medicine from the University of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2012 and was honored for outstanding academic achievement. He then worked for more than five years on his internship at the Mexican Social Security Institute, High Specialty Medical Unit, Western National Medical Center, and Specialty Hospital.

In 2016 Dr. Ceja began to acquire a specialty in Bariatric and Metabolic surgery in a private medical school and obtained his certification in specialized surgery from the Mexican Council of General Surgery. Since then, he has been a  dedicated surgeon in treating acute cholecystitis, obesity, hernias, and gastroesophageal reflux.
